Dr. Jill Burgess is an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) veterinarian who has been keeping pets happy and healthy with this practice since 2003. Inspired to become a veterinarian by her love of animals, she also studied human medicine before attending veterinary school. The Urban Pet takes pride in having a veterinary practice founded on integrity, compassion, and empathy.
The Urban Pet is a woman-owned and run veterinary practice. Our practice has roots back to the second-oldest veterinary practice in Tennessee that was established in the 1920’s. You’ll find that we believe in individualized care, and building rapport with our clients and their people.
